FIELDSPORTS PHOTOGRAPHY

DRIVEN GAME SHOOTING THROUGH A LENS

This is where I can combine my two passions perfectly – rural life and fieldsports photography. Rural life and fieldsports have formed a big part of my upbringing for as long as I can remember. It all began when a local gamekeeper gave me the opportunity to help out on his Suffolk estate. I used to spend every opportunity I could helping him after school, at weekends and during school holidays. Annual leave from my full time role at John Bidwell’s High Lodge Shooting School would mostly be spent on the local shoot. Being a specialist field sports photographer coupled with the detailed knowledge and involvement I have had for so many years provides me with the expertise to capture your driven game shooting and field sports photography in a relaxed and professional manor.

I love to capture these magical moments in the field through a lens. If you would like a special day’s fieldsports captured, or editorial images for fieldsports and country magazines. I have a selection of packages to suit all budgets.

CAPTURING A DAYS DEER STALKING

Deer Stalking holds a special place in my heart, especially in the highlands of Scotland on the Blair Atholl Estate. There is something magical about walking around Glen Tilt stalking these beasts. They still use the traditional garons – highland ponies used to extract the carcasses off the hill, an awesome spectacle to witness. But ironically I am equally happy viewing them from behind the lens rather than through the scope of a rifle.

Having been on stalks myself I understand fully the special bond that the stalkers have with this quarry. Being in such a hostile and remote wilderness where the stalking is conducted makes it even more exciting. So what better than to have these moments professionally captured by an experienced field sports photographer.

Due to the remote areas and sometimes limited travel options a travel and overnight stay surcharge will apply please contact me here for a quote.
